Welcome to Wesley Park United Methodist Church!

Located on Michael and 32nd Street in Wyoming, Michigan, Wesley Park UMC seeks to connect to our neighborhood, community, and to the world.  If you are searching for a place to worship, or for people who are loving and faithful, please come and experience genuine hospitality.  Wesley Park UMC is handicap accessible and air-conditioned.  The children’s program is inclusive to all, including those with special needs.

There are many opportunities to connect at Wesley Park United Methodist Church.

  1. Thursday, 7:14 pm:  During the summer, come experience God’s blessings for an hour on a Thursday evening, before heading out for the weekend.  These services celebrate the many ways God pours out grace upon the world.  During the fall and winter, this service moves to Sunday morning at 8 am.
  2. Sunday, 9:15 am:  Meet in the Sanctuary for a traditional hour of worship.  Together we worship God through prayer, music, and reflection upon Scripture and God’s movements in our lives.  There is a staffed nursery available for small children, and a thoughtfully-designed and well staffed worship experience for older children that begins about 15 minutes into the community worship time.
  3. Sunday, 10:45 am:  Meet in the Family Life Center for a contemporary hour of worship.  A very talented Praise Team leads the congregation in relevant and dynamic music, bringing life and energy to worship.  This service is filled with prayer, praise, and reflection upon the word.  All ages are welcome to praise God with heart, mind and spirit.  The staffed nursery is open for children, as well as the special worship experience designed for children beginning after a blessing in the Family Life Center.
  4. Wesley Park UMC also has a dynamic youth group, a Wednesday prayer team, a visitation team, mid-week Bible Studies, a knitting group, community meals, a reading mentor ministry, recycling, exercise groups, and many potential new friends.  The church participates in Angel Food Ministries, and hosts a food truck the first Thursday of every month and provides free food to any who have need.  And the ministries continue to grow...

In all we say and do, we seek to share the Love of Christ.  Please contact the church office if you want to know more about this active and growing church in Wyoming, Michigan.

Peace,

Rev. Dean N. Prentiss
